Most children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) are treated for psychiatric comorbidities using medications designed for and tested in individuals without ASD. This study of Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) symptoms in children with ASD found that stimulants and atomoxetine were both effective for this population.
