Systematic Review and Network Meta-analysis: Efficacy and Safety of Second-Generation Antipsychotics in Youths With Bipolar Depression
This systematic review and meta-analysis found that a combination of Olanzapine and Fluoxetine (OFC), and Lurasidone were both effective for the treatment of bipolar depression in young people. In contrast, Quetiapine was not helpful in improving depressive symptoms. The use of Lurasidone was associated with less weight gain and hypercholesterolaemia than OFC.
