Challenging behaviours: The positive role of medication in children and adolescents with intellectual disabilities

Dr Natalie Novick Brown, Associate Professor in Psychiatry, University of Washington, Seattle is the keynote speaker for this day event which will provide an update on the use of medication in children and adolescents with intellectual disabilities. It will form a platform for discussing the complexities and ethics of medication management with challenging behaviours, but also acknowledge the true positive effect of well-chosen medicines.
