Evidence from 22 studies suggested positive effects on psychological sequelae of sexual abuse for child centred therapy (CCT) and trauma-focused cognitive behaviour therapy (TF-CBT), but not eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, family therapy or psychodynamic therapy.
