This study of a 12 week course of social skills training for children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) showed that the treatment is feasible to deliver within child and adolescent mental health services.  However, changes in social skills, adaptive functioning and clinical severity were modest, suggesting that further efforts are needed to improve this treatment modality.  Adolescents seemed to benefit more than pre-adolescents.
