Temporal Trends in Suicide Attempts Among Children in the Decade Before and During the COVID-19 Pandemic in Paris, France
This French study found that childhood (<15 years) suicide rates increased during the early phase of the COVID-19 pandemic, but decreased during lockdown. The former may be related to greater personal and family stress; and the latter may be due to greater parental availability.
